OBX Vacation Raffle!

Good Morning All,

I am a memeber of a local Rotary Club (Kitty Hawk Rotary) and it is coming time for us to host our annual Pro/Am Golf tournament.

The Owner of my Company (Village Realty) was nice enough to donate two 3 Day | 2 Night Vacations on different parts of the Outer Banks in order to help raise money by raffling off the tickets.

1st Prize - 3 Day | 2 Night Stay at The Historic Castle on Ocracoke Island - The Castle at Silver Lake Bed and Breakfast
2nd Prize - 3 Day | 2 Night Stay at the First Colony Inn in Nags Head - First Colony Inn

Tickets are $5.00 Each or 5 for $20.00.

Proceeds from the Raffle along with the Golf Tourament go to the following Charities.

1. Food for Thought - Food For Thought Outer Banks - North Carolina
2. Community Care Clinic of Dare - Healthcare is not a luxury...it's a necessity. - AboutUs
3. Shoes for Kids Program
4. Local Scholarships

Sad Ending as a Result of Thunderstorm

I wanted to take a quick second and post a note regarding the horrible incident that happened yesterday on the Outer Banks as a result of a Quick Moving Thunderstorm.  

A man was jogging on the beach near Mockingbird Lane in Southern Shores when he was struck by lighting and killed instantly.  

Please everyone be careful, when you hear word of a storm moving into the area please take cover.  These storms move very quickly and can pack some serious power.

Village Realty invites you to share your vacation photos with us! We are excited to present the 2009 Photo Contest! We will be accepting photo submissions until September 7, 2009. Winners will be notified by phone and e-mail in mid-September.

Contest Prize:

The Grand Prize Winner of the 2009 Village Realty OBX Vacation Photo Contest will receive a one-week, off-season rental, based on availability, in one of our rental homes or condos. Second and Third Place prizes, yet to be determined, will be awarded.

Entry Guidelines

By uploading your photos, you grant Village Realty permission to use your photo submission(s) for use in any of its marketing, advertising or promotional materials, without payment or any other consideration. Photos must be of places, people or events in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Professional photos are not permitted. 

Please upload your photos in a high-resolution JPG format. Other file formats such as PDF, TIF, BMP, etc. cannot be accepted. Village Realty may decide to use your photograph(s) in promotional publications, so please upload the highest resolution of your image as possible. Sorry, photos taken from a cell phone or PDA will not be of sufficient photo quality. 

You may enter the contest as many times as you like. 

Photos including recognizable faces must be of immediate family members. If you have photos you would like to enter in the contest that contain recognizable faces of anyone not in your immediate family, you must provide a signed Model Release Agreement to Village Realty.
