I wanted to take a quick second and post a note regarding the horrible incident that happened yesterday on the Outer Banks as a result of a Quick Moving Thunderstorm.
A man was jogging on the beach near Mockingbird Lane in Southern Shores when he was struck by lighting and killed instantly.
Please everyone be careful, when you hear word of a storm moving into the area please take cover. These storms move very quickly and can pack some serious power.
