Interesting Article & Video - Outer Banks Once Known as "Torpedo Alley"

I cannot take credit for finding this article & video but I thought it was very interesting and worth posting.  Found this one through Facebook.

The Outer Banks were once known as "Torpedo Alley" during World War II for all the German U-boat attacks on the Allied shipping lanes off our beaches. Hundreds of ships were sunk. Click on the link below to hear real accounts from OBX residents who lived through this terrifying chapter in history.
